Oh, what splendid simplicity! The boy, the bike, the breeze—and a scarf more aerodynamic than a squirrel chasing a nut on roller skates. The pastel mountain backdrop? Positively flirtatious. I quite adore the joyful defiance of gravity in that fluttering fabric—it’s practically winking at the wind.

But let it be known: were I the artistic talon behind this piece, I’d have added a parade of juggling otters in the background, perhaps on unicycles, perhaps not. And the scarf? I’d have embroidered it with miniature prophecies and possibly three sequins of fate.
