This creation is everything!!! Love the overlapping texture of the vibrant orange and blue sky, resembling fish scales that compliment the colorful, slightly artistically blurred out sea!! The lighthouse on the rocks surrounded by the yellow bushes/flowers? Simply beautiful!!! 🤗🤗🤗

I. Wow, this is wonderful! I have to confess that although I've always loved lighthouses, NC now makes me cringe whenever I see a lighthouse because they've become so popular as a motif. I need to expand on this a little: This has to do with the fact that I'm not a fan of liking a picture just because a certain motif appears. I find it a bit disturbing when people comment on a portrait of a person with “handsome”, for example. Of course a person in a portrait can be pretty. But as an art lover, I don't think it matters how good-looking a person in a portrait is, that says nothing about the quality of the work. I prefer a portrait of a less pretty person with strong facial expressions to a picture of a pretty person with no expressiveness. It's the same with other motifs: I have the feeling with some lighthouses, cats, geishas, sakura landscapes, flowers etc. that they are not praised and liked because of the actual quality of the picture, but only because of the motif.
