Meet the Main Antagonist of the story, "Cry of Archibald." Although this piece of metal might not seem like much, this relic is actually a fragment of the Devil's soul. Founding the Cult of the Dark moon, orchestrating several genocides, massacres, & serial killers. This simple piece of ancient heartlessness is responsible for it all.
Although the Relic has no tongue, it has the uncanny ability to enter anyone's mind under common "safe" temptation. The Twilight Mask is commonly referenced as the trickster or deceiver.
Once worn, the Mask will grant you the supernatural abilities of increased dexterity, battle IQ, Veil (a phase where you cover others eyes from seeing you, or temporary invisibility), maximized persuasiveness, casting nightmares or shocking messages to several people, & finally creating mirages & illusions.
Its role in the story is simple, causing bloodshed, pain & spread its plague around the island of Elysia. After all that's its origin after all.
