A Controversial Match

This early 1900's private boxing match was quite controversial at the time, and was the source of much scandalous gossip.

Not only was it a fight between a man and a woman, nor more controversially between a white man and a black woman, but most scandalous of all to those who witnessed and talked about it at the time was that it was between a white man and a black woman who were openly flirting with one another before, during, and after the match.
