The uncomfortable truths within my existence The terrible things I don't want to say Caused by a head strong precipitance On every long miserable day The past where it started is far in the distance Ancient memories of laughter and play The future offers me great resistance It makes it very hard to be here and stay I do my best to offer others assistance Often they don't like what I have to say So I travel around an unwanted visitant Pretending assuredly that it's all okay Afraid of it all I can't help my indehiscence Just need a safe place for my head to lay Rage is what used to make up my essence Now only sorrow from December to May I still hold disdain for those shifty and duplicitous I hate intensely the way that they bray Yet to act I am still filled with hesitance We should all be willing to tell them nay No one understands how great the significance I'm surprised by how people easily sway So I continue my words with focused diligence And then take the time to look up and pray
