The upscale looks more 'real'. The original has more of the game look to it, the water looks more like biolume ooze, the person on the shore more cartoon. In the upscale everything is crisper and looks more like a representational scene (while still being fantasy based).

I prefer the upscale because I like that look better, but I know you built your isometric on game images and ideas so maybe you prefer that. As to worth, 25 credits is a LOT and I can't say I can even see the worth in a lot of people's 1 credit evolves, I'm cheap, so the worth is really up to you and how highly you value credits.

I like them all. The upgrade gave more details

Interesting to compare them. As has been they are different creations and what you prefer would depend on what you are going for.

Totally worth it.

It gave it a different atmosphere, but not in a bad way. I like both versions for different reasons that my mind can't formulate properly into text 🤩
