I always thought of myself as a bit of a looser. Then... I really did loose. My husband of nearly 28 years passed away on July 9, 2014.
Make no mistake, I knew I had it good with him when he was alive and mortality was the farthest thing from our minds.
But after his passing, I saw all those things I missed the most, and some of them I never even thought of before!
Then it was that I realized that my greatest success was our marriage, and many can't even imagine the riches that I had with him, even the (many) times when we were just barely "making it" financially.
As a society, we are taught a lot of weird, dysfunctional, down right STUPID things are ways to be "successful" ($uck ¢ess full.)
By the way: Have some good, silly fun. Seek out laughter and adventure wherever you can. Trim down the THINGS and gather up the experiences of life.
