The depth at which we feel profound sadness is equal to the depth at which we can feel profound happiness. I have to remind myself of that when times get rough and I’m down: That this is the balance struck and that one day when I’m passed this feeling of sadness and its faded to low ebb. I will feel the exact, same level of feeling but in the opposite direction - Happiness, for the same wiring that allows me to feel the fullness of this sadness is also the same wiring that enables me to experience the pure, immenseness of that joy. I just have to out wait sadness and wait for happiness to come around in all its immersive, goldened glory.
