No wonder Anubis is so furious.
He had been so close to finding the tablet and returning home with his siblings, before he had lost them. He had spent the last two hundred years in solitude, searching like a madman for an artefact which turned out to having been taken elsewhere a long time ago. And now realising some graverobbers had been using his people's technology for a long time. It was so maddening!
Realising this, her anger against him settled. When she had been incarcerated in the Tower, she had felt the same frustration as he must feel now. She had been insufferable inside her cell - before she finally figured out how to break out of her imprisonment.
Maybe I should go easy on him. He's just like me. And if he's only half as smart, he'll find a way to get his hands on the tablet. And together, we'll find a way to leave this wretched place together, find Clara and Caten and figure out what to do next. There is no need for fighting today. At least I should hope so...
This graphic novel illustration features Maisie Williams as Ashildr in a futuristic uniform with holographic shades, surrounded by neon light. It uses soft watercolor textures and noir shadows for a moody, dystopian feel.

Very fascinating ... I guess it's a wonder he isn't completely b_nkers after all that time spent alone. Great scene!! 👍👏👏👏👏
