Recently, I've been integrating more and more AI tools into my daily grind. ChatGPT writes funding proposals which would've taken days to write from scratch. A specialised model generates curriculae for our courses after we've been granted funding. Meanwhile, an AI assistant manages my inbox so I don't have to delete unimportant messages by hand, while automated replies handle course onboarding. And once we're done, GPT writes, erm, enhances the project reviews, while our accounting software uses AI to manage our finances. 🫨 Wouldn't it be so much easier if I just stayed at home and used my UBI to be creative and we just forgot about funding proposals, 9-5 madness and, goodness me, income tax declaration? Let AI take over the daily grind so that we as humans can finally be done with capitalism and form the peaceful society we all deserve. 💪 ☮️

There are so many badly written AI articles on Facebook at the moment it’s hilarious. I came off it for personal reasons two years ago, but a friend showed me two pieces about Taylor Swift and one about The Beatles recently that were just ridiculous. It’s only adding to the mass of misinformation when it’s published without being checked by someone who knows the facts. But accuracy is not the aim in the majority of cases, very sadly.
Certainly very interesting and exciting times we live in. Of course there's the argument of technology taking people's jobs, but then that has always happened throughout modern history. How society manages the huge changes that are coming will be important. Automation and robots will allow more people to do what they want rather than have to work, but that requires a universal income, where does that money come from if profits and wealth are not taxed fairly..
I am a computer programmer and I adore Copilot. I am also mentoring a college student. Even before AI, programmers always said don't re-invent the wheel, so I told her using the Copilot is not cheating (unless it's a test of course) LOL
But AI is not perfect and everything must be checked and double checked before it is used and shared.
I'm onboard with that! That is a great image BTW. Really good.
