She was born Jasmine Beckwith in the burbs of Chicago to a dull family in a dull neighborhood, destined to be a dentist like her grandmother, mother and father and older brother, but she craved adventure. 

She started playing pool at the local rec center just to get out of the house, found she had a knack for it and went all in on the technique, studied kinetics and geometry and found another aptitude. When she was 17 she left a note on her families server and logged out permanently. That was the last day anyone called her Jasmine.

Jaz worked all the seedy clubs, anywhere she could get a game, hustling some, learning the hustle from others, getting noticed on the circuit until she finally landed a sponsorship from Yakato Bioengineers, and with some nano upgrades she was in the bright lights of professional billiards stardom.
