Robert Purrsley is the local blacksmith down in Catskill. He is the older brother of Arthur Purrsley and the uncle of Melody Purrsley. He had a rough go of it during his earlier years. Growing up he was constantly getting into fights and making a name for himself due to his very aggressive and stand offish behavior. He changed his life around after he got sentenced to some time in prison for beating up and hospitalizing another cat for threatening his brother Arthur. That was a long time ago though, he no longer acts like that and is an upstanding citizen now in Catskill with his own business, which is frequented everyday by cats in need of his fine metalwork. He is loved and respected by everyone, even Mr. Whisker Snips, although he doesn't associate with him except as a customer. He is standoffish, but inside he is a cuddle bug with a wonderful smile and jolly laugh. He loves his life now, and above all else he loves his family. Don't mess with his family.
