I can relate - There are some things that remain stubbornly beyond our grasp. But seriously Fuzzy - these are absolutely stunning. I'm feeling reinvigorated today to go back and revisit my flux loras. I'm just not happy with them, but I've seen a few that are able to break down that waxy fluxy wall and I'm ready to give it another whirl. Still have no idea how to achieve the facial textures I want but I've seen other loras do it, so any suggestion more than welcome. 😃 

Glad to hear there's some wind in your sails! I have had good luck with a set of SDXL images with a very strong stylistic similarity (or a Pinterest set with the same criteria).

Just decide on what you want (a certain texture, light, ethnic features, color scheme, camera position, or some combination) and go for it. Even if it doesn't do everything you want, it can achieve amazing things in combo.

As an example, for Virgulta I chose a lot of landscape images with counterintuitive color schemes and only included people in "long view" so that I could dependably get big vistas and interesting hues. 

Thanks Fuzzy, I'm really focusing on getting that smoothness off the facial features, or at least adding a layer of painted texture over the top. So there will be lots of faces and texture in the dataset. I tried it using nothing but LCM painted images, and some paintings from SD3.5 medium, but it didn't crack flux's skin fully. so I'm gonna try a fresh approach. Andy's onto something with his Earth and Rose lora, so there's hope. 🤣🌹👍
