Miasma Fairy

In the old days these harmless looking, peaceful creaures would congregate and even nest in some of the most dangerous and poisonous places in the world. Places with large groups of poisonous plants, the lairs of venemous beasts, volcanic chasms where toxic fumes clouded the very air. In later years they could be found in apothecaries and chemists shops and make their homes near the more dangerous or toxic alchemical ingredients. Some believed for many years they were malevolent spirits but some have come to believe they do so from an insitinctual desire to protect all living things from harm. They happily make their homes near poisonous and dangerous areas and substances and rest easily knowing they fulfill their duty of guardian protectors of their human charges.
