Our school organizes the Celestial Award ceremony to honour student discipline with badges for "Well Dressed," "Class Participation," "Speaking Skills," and "Disciplined Student."Ya, all qualities of a topper student and every student knows that they will only receive it so 😐🥲

I found myself caught between practicality and daydreams as a middle bencher. If you're not familiar with the term, middle benchers are known for one thing: "THEY EXIST AND FILL SEAT VACANCY." These individuals have a habit of finishing assignments at the last minute. When parents meet teachers, they would say, "He/She HAS POTENTIAL, I CAN SEEEE IT... IF ONLY THEY USED IT." While the top students cry over 99.999%, and backbenchers chuckle at simply passing, middlebenchers typically hover around 60-70%, not too sure whether to rejoice or sulk.

Why am I sharing this? I have no idea. 🤷‍♀️ 🥲😶‍🌫️ Being a middle bencher meant no awards for me. But then, something extraordinary happened in my 7th grade...
