Starry nights and cactus spikes

I miss starry nights and cactus spikes, Red sunsets and nature hikes. I miss the Hell out of dusty saloons. I even miss the hotel rooms. The Wheel in the Sky, the kisses good bye. I even kind of miss the tears in my eye. I miss highway miles and hula hoops. I miss candy smiles and puppy boops. I loved the lilac. I loved the lake. I even loved the odd late spring snowflake. I miss dusty boots and desert sands, Cemetery shoots and country bands. I miss my friends, both old and new. I am homesick for epic mountain views. I even miss that stinky casino. I guess I am homesick for the road.
