Love that will never be mine

There once was a soul who longed for love, But fate had other plans, For though they searched both far and wide, They never found romance.

Their heart grew heavy with each passing day, And tears would often fall, For though they yearned to find their one, They felt forever small.

But though their love may never come, Their spirit stayed alive, For they knew that even without love, They still had much to thrive.
