Even though the Upscaled version is more realistic, to my way of thinking the original is the nicer image - both are great though.

I have the same misgivings often when I do an upscale. I've been shying away from it on images that are not close-up. Seems like the prompt style I've slipped into does not like the be improved upon in those cases LOL


I used to upscale images at 50%, but they were often changed a lot.

Now I usually upscale using 0%, which tends to stick to the original image/face, but makes improvements.

On the rare occasions that 0% doesn't give me what I want, I then try 10%, 25%, or 50%.
