Pouring Sugar Water into a Glass of Absinthe

Sugar water clouds absinthe. The true Bohemian style is to hold a sugar cube over the drink and pour the water over the sugar. Originally, absinthe was made using wormwood which would act as an hallucinogen. It is toxic (i.e. poisonous), so don't try it at home. No one ever documented the body count it took to make it "safe enough" to not kill the clients.
