"LPC" by Claire Couture

(prompt by @smartiepants_art ) Claire Couture is one of the internet's favorite kind of artists, the type who do a little bit of everything and do so in a distinctively offbeat fashion. Her latest work, "LPC," is a short film integrating clips from a "lost princess cartoon." "My family visited the US back in the 90s," Claire says. "[My older brother] Frank was eight at the time. He stayed up late one night and watched cable TV while mom and dad were out at the beach, which is a story in and of itself, but anyway. He saw a disturbing animated movie he never got the name of, and told me about it when I was old enough to know. It messed me up second-hand. "'LPS' is the end result of my brother's story, my story, the story of looking for Heart of Green, and where we're standing now. And, uh, by 'we' I mean 'humanity.'
