Nightmare voice 3

This one reminds me a lot of sleep paralysis, though I rarely get it in the form of seeing a figure at the foot of my bed. I sleep on my side, so when I get sleep paralysis, I can usually see something lying behind me in the corner of my eye, and I can feel breathing on the back of my neck, but I can't roll over or turn my head to see what's there. I strain my eyes, trying to get a glimpse of what's behind ne so I know how much danger I'm in, and I know I'm in danger because I can just FEEL it. I eventually manage to get a decent view of the monster in my peripheral vision for a split second, then it lunges at me and kills me and I wake up. I think I'd rather a monster standing at the end of my bed honestly, at least I'd be able to see what I'm up against that way
