**Story. Part 1.** Bluegirl stood in the forest. Just like that. Her blue skin shimmered in the sunlight like a freshly waxed Smurf, and her long, wavy purple hair cascaded down her back, as if an artist had gotten carried away with a particularly extravagant brushstroke. Next to her sat Doodle the Dragon. Doodle was ridiculously, almost offensively, cute. Pastel green, with eyes so big and sparkly they could cause cavities, and a facial expression that suggested he had inhaled an entire tray of freshly baked cookies. They stood there. "Why are we standing here?" Bluegirl finally asked. Doodle huffed. "Because the AI wanted it." - "Ah." Bluegirl stared at a tree. The tree did not stare back. But if it could, it probably would have looked just as confused. Doodle flapped his tiny wings. "Shouldn't we... do something?" - "We could have a deep conversation," Bluegirl suggested. "About the meaning of life?"

**Part 2.** "No. About why you look like you escaped from a children's cartoon while I seem to belong in an experimental fantasy illustration." Doodle pondered. Or at least pretended to. "Maybe I'm your comic relief." Bluegirl nodded. "Yeah. But we're not doing anything." Doodle kept thinking. "We could pretend to be saving the forest." - "From what?" - "From... uh... the lack of a plot?" Bluegirl looked at the ground. Then at the sky. Then at Doodle. Then back at the sky. "This is the most boring epic forest rescue ever," she concluded. "Maybe a wizard will show up and give us a quest?" - "Or an adventurer will need our help?" Nothing happened. Doodle sighed. "Okay, how about we just do something completely pointless?" - "Like what?" - "I could dance around you while breathing tiny sparks from my nostrils, and you could improvise a poem about the meaning of moss." Bluegirl considered it. "That sounds like art." - "Yes, but absurd art." - "Perfect."  

**Part 3.** And so, Doodle started puffing little green sparks while Bluegirl solemnly recited:  
*"Oh moss, you velvet woodland lace,
You thrive in shade, yet leave no trace.
No grand design, no noble aim,
Yet softer still than chairs of fame."*  
Meanwhile, a bird landed on a branch, staring at them in disbelief. Then it decided that it had better things to do and flew away. Bluegirl and Doodle kept standing there, utterly useless. And that was fine.
