Our young heroine is on a quest to find the truth about what happened to her father. The wise man in her village has told her to venture to the Valley of Verity, where she will find a glowing orb that will provide one answer to any question asked of it. The title of this creation comes from William Shakespeare's Sonnet 50: "How heavy do I journey on the way ..." After receiving her answer, she is left with the last line of the poem: "My grief lies onward and my joy behind."
