When the rain finally stopped, she grabbed her jacket and snuck away from the party outside to the pool. It was unseasonably cold for an early summer day and the persistent rain had moved the event inside away from the pool. But she still planned to get some time at the pool if the rain let up and now was her chance. She made her way over to the edge and sat down beside the pool. She hadn't considered the deck was wet and she felt it soaking through her jeans where she sat leaving a dark wet spot on the grey denim. Instantly she decided that was her sign to get in the pool! Her sweater and jeans were definitely going in, but she debated on her boots and jacket. The boots would end up wet once she put them back on from her wet jeans, and the jacket might be fun in the pool, but also might be nice to have something dry when she got out. The rain could return at any moment. She sat there debating what she should do, just go for it or find someplace to put her jacket for when she got out.
