The Horseborn Aberrations are an evolved, cursed strain of Agaricus arvensis, the Horse Mushroom, mutated beyond recognition by the island’s corrupting influence. These creatures resemble equine forms twisted into fungal horror, mimicking the majesty of real horses while replacing flesh with spongy mycelium, gnarled stalks, and pulsating spores.

Unlike the Mycosan Abominations, which creep and infect, the Horseborn Aberrations hunt. They run without sound, their bodies composed of dense fungal tissue, leaving trails of luminescent spores in their wake.
