(a part of the Heart of Altari) Originally, the people of N’kombak’i had no idea as to where the ghastly beasts called Killijans had come from. However, it was soon discovered that their fiercest enemy was, in actuality, not their foe, but former Malkiri (the indigenous people of N’kombak’i), turned into monsters through a grueling process that takes place near the center of the earth, where the light of the sun doesn’t dare to shine. From here the soldiers are sent out to devour the planet and completely control all of its citizens. However, many Malkiri realize that something must be done or all people would be taken and transformed into a soulless, pillaging creature of darkness. It was Altari who at last decided to do something about it, and it was by her hand that the reign of the Killijans came to an end. However, victory is never free, and many lives were lost on that great battlefield. We honor their sacrifice still today and remember that Altari loved all, even in death.
A chilling image shows a cloaked, skeletal figure lurking in a foggy jungle at night. The scene is rendered with hyperrealistic detail, emphasizing the eerie and nightmarish atmosphere.
