"Hanging with Ollie Opossum"

Ollie wasn’t like the other woodland creatures—he preferred hanging out upside down. Literally. Whether he was dodging chores, spying on squirrels, or pretending he was a jungle acrobat (he wasn’t), Ollie’s favorite pastime was dangling by his tail from his favorite tree.

Tonight, as the golden light stretched across the cornfield and the barn cats began their shift change, Ollie struck a pose. “I’m practicing for the Woodland Olympics,” he announced to no one in particular.

He wasn’t fast. He wasn’t sneaky. But by gum, he could hang like a champion.
