1920s Algonquin Hotel, hosting the Vicious Circle, literary group, Abstract

from the 1920s, abstract interpretation of the Round Table aka The Vicious Circle of witty writers and others, including Dorothy Parker, Tallulah Bankhead, George S. Kaufman, Peter Benchley, Edna Ferber, Alexander Woolcott, plus others. Still a functioning hotel, with a cat greeter. There always has been an official cat at the Algonquin and there's a book about the cats through the years.
