The desert tested her resolve with its heat and endless expanse, but Kristie pressed on, each step guided by the faint pulse beneath her feet. It grew stronger now...closer. Perhaps she would find what she needed before nightfall...or perhaps something else awaited in the dunes. A challenge? An ally? Only time would tell as she continued her solitary trek across the golden expanse. The Shrine was close...she could feel it.

A rogue stain could bring shame upon the crown...and Kaiya was responsible. She checked the basket, a few stray socks and a tunic needing mending. "Another cycle," she muttered, adjusting her shield against the wall. It wasn't glorious work…but it was necessary. The kingdom needed clean clothes, after all. And someone had to make sure those washing machines didn’t malfunction...a broken machine could cause chaos. She eyed a particularly loud one with suspicion...perhaps a quick inspection was in order before starting the next load.

The sun beat down relentlessly as she began to walk, each step sinking slightly into the warm sand. A faint shimmer appeared in the distance a mirage perhaps or something more? Ima quickened her pace, determination etched on her face. She was a fighter and this relic wouldn't find its way home without a struggle... not if she had anything to say about it. The ruins awaited... and so did whatever secrets they held.
