Right? I should actually no longer be surpised at what it throws up! Lots of the top entries in the ice sculpture had "real" eyes or details that were definitely *not made of ice* but maybe I'm too critical on that front... Hahahah! Even this looks more like crystal than ice but it didn't have "real" eyes in it! I guess people mostly just vote with the first impression... 😉 

The 1 to 2 seconds they spend looking at it doesn't leave much time for a second impression. 😄 I used to drive myself nuts trying to make things that were technically accurate for challenges. But technical skill seldom gets rewarded. Voters are kind of like cats. You buy them this amazingly perfect toy and they go sit in the box it came in.

This one's a tough prompt because it's going to send the AI two different directions. It doesn't really have a reference to an ice sculpture being in the ocean. So it gave you a sculpture which it tends to like to place in a museum, but if you look, your ocean is in the background.

So yes, it's weird, but not completely illogical at least. Dall-e 3 would be able to pull this off most likely because ChatGPT would interpret the prompt better. Don't know that I could pull it off in SDXL.

It's an ice sculpture of an octopus, obviously! Somehow it's in a museum/classical architecture setting but it looks like a scupture, I guess! Who knows, AI is weird! I've tried several times and this one looks most like an actual sculpture!
