AI AND THE FUTURE OF ART. This image suggests to me a very interesting possibility for the future of art and AI: the continued evolution of an artist's style after the lifetime of the artist. In assimilating the many examples of an artist's work into some sort of visual LLM knowledge-base, the AI would have created the mathematical equivalent a platonic archetype of the artist's style. This archetype could be used to generate many new works of art. Not all of these would be beautiful, but a few might be. Those few beautiful anomalies, selected by human observers, could be the beginning to new branches of the tree of the artist's work. This to me would be an example of the co-evolutionary cooperation between human biological intelligence and AI (mathematical and database) intelligence.
