DND Series: Prismatic Roper (Monster)

Prismatic Ropers are large, fleshy tree-like creatures with four tentacles and skin that pulses with hypnotic, ever-changing colors. They stand about 9 feet tall and weigh around 2,200 pounds. These aberrations lurk in the less deep regions of underground environments, using their ability to change skin color rapidly to blend into rocky landscapes or produce mesmerizing displays that attract prey. They primarily feed on small cave animals but also target larger humanoids. In combat, they use their tremorsense to locate prey, luring them close with hypnotic coloration before striking with their tentacles to inject paralytic poison. Prismatic Ropers are slow when moving but extremely quick with their tentacle attacks
