The Vertically Shire

Inspired by my picture I made for the challenge, a lil Story in my head. What if the Hobbits never left Middle-earth, but simply moved upward instead of away? In a distant future, as the world grew into sprawling neon cities of glass and steel, the Hobbits built their new Shire in the sky — a towering sanctuary of gardens, moss, and round-door dwellings rising above the chaos below. While flying cars and drones fill the air around them, they live quietly among waterfalls, flowers, and soft green light — a vertical echo of their old homeland, keeping the spirit of the Shire alive high above the future world.
