Dean Cornwell (1892–1960) was an American illustrator and muralist known for his dynamic, richly colored compositions and dramatic storytelling. Often referred to as the "Dean of Illustrators," Cornwell was a master of narrative illustration, producing works for magazines, books, and advertising, as well as large-scale murals.
