Victory Over Death

O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:55-57)

Death is coming for us all. And unless you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, it is final. A hard truth, and one we have had to all face with the loss of loved ones. However, our Heavenly Father provided for us the Covenant of Grace in the person of His own Son, Christ Jesus. When Jesus rose from the dead on that blessed 3rd day, death lost its power over any who pick up their cross and follow Him.

This week, share a creation showing the power of life over death. The prophet Isaiah said:

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord has spoken it. (Isaiah 25:8)
