A Peculiar People

"Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people , zealous of good works." - Titus 2:14 (See also Exo. 19:5, Deu. 14:2 & 26:18, Psa. 135:4, Ecc. 2:8, 1 Peter 2:9)

The term "Peculiar People" is used 7 times in the King James version of the Bible.

"But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him." - Psalm 4:3

We are called to be different. To be IN the world, but not OF the world, set apart for the Master's use. This week, show us these concepts in some way.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." - Romans 12:2
