"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound" (Isaiah 61:1)
The Holy Spirit was present at Creation (Gen 1:2), at Jesus' baptism (Mat 3:16), and at Pentecost (Acts 2). Jesus promised a Comforter that will abide with us forever (John 14:16).
The Holy Spirit is represented as fire, living water, and the Breath of God (the Hebrew word for 'breath' in Ezekiel 37 at the Valley of Dry Bones is the exact same word used for 'Spirit' in Genesis 1) to name a few instances.
This week, share a Holy Spirit-inspired creation. Jesus assured His disciples:
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me: (John 15:26)
May Christ shelter you in His embrace this week πππ
