Lost Places Reconstructed – Seedream 4.5 Challenge

This is a sponsored challenge in collaboration with BytePlus (in ByteDance group) to celebrate the launch of Seedream 4.5. The theme invites you to take a place that once existed – historically real, mythological, abandoned, destroyed, or forgotten – and reconstruct it in a new way.

Your scene should feel rebuilt, restored, or reimagined with clear structure, depth, and visual coherence. Seedream 4.5 handles complex environments and accurate proportions better than previous versions, so this is a chance to explore spaces with layered architecture, detailed textures, and thoughtful lighting. 🔥

Create your version of a lost landmark, a ruined village brought back to life, a mythic structure reconstructed with modern materials, or any place that feels rediscovered and renewed.

On-Theme Examples Include:

• The Colosseum rebuilt in a futuristic Rome, with illuminated glass panels, sleek metal arches, and hovering walkways replacing the ruined stone.
• An Aztec temple reconstructed with cyberpunk elements — neon glyphs, glowing staircases, and polished obsidian structures powered by futuristic energy cores.
• Atlantis restored as a whimsical underwater city filled with plush, stuffed-animal guardians, soft coral towers, and glowing fabric-like reefs.

When making your art, keep these things in mind:

• Creativity: Did you show the theme in a unique or interesting way? Will your art stand out?
• Visual Impact: Is your image eye-catching or emotional? Will it make people stop and feel something?
• Fits the Theme: Is it clear how your image connects to today’s theme? Will voters understand the idea right away?
• Skill: Does your art show that you know how to use prompts and site tools well?
