Abraham ✨👪🔪

The fourth story in these Bible challenges is that of Abraham.

Great civilizations arose, and Abraham a rich and elderly shepherd in Ur, was called by God to go west.

God told him that he and wife Sarah would have as many descendants as there are stars in the sky.

With no pregnancy, Sarah suggested Abraham farther a child with their servant girl, Hagar, when she birthed Ishmael, she left the family due to ill will, God called on her to return and she did.

Three travellers arrived at the camp, where a feast was arranged, with the message that nothing is too difficult for God. Abraham and Sarah conceived a child, Isaac.

Later, Abraham received a message from God, that he must sacrifice his own son. Abraham took Isaac to the sacrifice table, and was going to kill him, but was stopped. As Abraham showed willingness to sacrifice everything, God confirmed the promise will be upheld, and blessed all his descendants.
