And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

While Jesus didn't use the word "command" here, it isn't merely a suggestion, either. We have the means of sharing the Gospel worldwide that didn't exist 2000 years ago. So grateful for all of you willing to share a small part of that Gospel here. Congratulations to our winner and may we all walk in the peace of Christ this week. The first and greatest commandment:

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me." (Exodus 20:2-3)

Nice! Congrats on 3rd!  As hard as it is to do, when someone hurts us, Jesus asks us not to retaliate but to show love instead. Its is hard to forgive, but it's absolutely necessary. Harboring unforgiveness poisons us more than the hurt. And it is just as important to ask others for forgiveness when we realize we hurt them, intentionally or not. I like that your creation shows an extreme case of soldiers on opposite sides of war. If everyone chose love and forgiveness over retaliation, I suspect there would be fewer wars. 

Thank you, it's tricky trying to illustrate the commandments but perhaps it would be useful if we could.

I love that the young man is taking time out of his probably rush rush rush life to help one of the elderly during what looks like a pretty dangerous traffic situation. Helps that he's wearing bright yellow 😃   This captures so well the concept of loving our "neighbor" which Jesus meant to mean, everyone, basically, not just our friends, families, relatives, but to show love by showing unselfish behavior to people we don't even know well by trying to help them.  Congrats on 5th!

This is amazing!! I remember you telling of a funeral for another friend that help bring you together with someone you had been at odds with for some time. What an excellent depiction of forgiveness. 👏🙏🕊️😍

Unfortunately HB much sadder..and wishful thinking..estranged from my four younger sisters for twenty years..forty from the one I think influences the others...and I reach out to HER every Christmas but no response.At the age where we could be dying and I wouldn't know.Pray for me..and my sisters..please.
