In honor of World Photography Day (August 19th), today's theme is World Photography Day! Celebrate the art of capturing moments by creating pieces inspired by photography, cameras, or iconic snapshots. Your work can highlight the process, the tools, or the stories behind the lens.
Examples of on-theme creations could include:
- A studio scene with vintage film cameras and lighting gear
- A photographer at work in a bustling city street
- A wall of framed photographs telling a family’s history
- An imagined camera capturing a surreal or magical moment
When making your art, keep these things in mind:
- Creativity: Did you show the theme in a unique or interesting way? Will your art stand out?
- Visual Impact: Is your image eye-catching or emotional? Will it make people stop and feel something?
- Fits the Theme: Is it clear how your image connects to today’s theme? Will voters understand the idea right away?
- Skill: Does your art show that you know how to use prompts and site tools well?
