The Victorian Era has been a constant inspiration and it is not uncommon to find traces of fashion from that period (19th century) in today's clothes.

From 1838 until 1850. Petticoats and crinolines were used to achieve bell-shaped skirts. Corsets that made waists very thin and emphasized curves. Hands and feet should also be very small.

Between 1860s and 1870s. Bare shoulders and necks were also used. Arms were often covered in fingerless gloves or long gloves. Over the years, the volume of the skirts has changed, moving all the way to the back. Waistlines remain small.
