My pigman creations are meant as a celebration of softness, earthiness, and bodily joy. They reclaim a symbol often misunderstood or stigmatized. In my view, the pig is a creature of abundance, fertility, softness, vulnerability, and quiet dignity — qualities I find deeply lovable, but which defy the logic of utilitarianism  and bodily streamlining in capitalist societies. Pigman is not a puritan, but a true Epicurean, and I love him for that.
