A member of the *Pennsylvania Impressionism*, Coppedge is celebrated for her bold use of colour and light, often painting *en plein air* to capture the nuances of seasonal changes. Her work is characterised by a vibrant palette and a somewhat Impressionistic style that brought warmth and vivacity to snowy scenes and autumnal views, making her one of the few prominent women in the early 20th-century USA art scene.
