On the night my father died, I heard loud *slurping* noises from the backyard.  I was mad with fright!  My hackles had ***HACKLES***!!!

As the poor man gasped his last, I slowly made my way out the back door and encountered this majestic specter!

I watched, mesmerized, as it lifted it's tail and pharted out an unholy shriek, and then rolled onto its  back and pointed to the cat brush that was laying on my father's picnic table.

I stood there motionless, in shock, and then it made a face of frustrated disgust and waddled off into the woodland night.

Sigh...*what an experience!*

@GADGKuhlengraeber mentioned *something* similar, but I don't think it had the same *gravitas*.
