SQUAWKY DREAMS ABOUT HELL (+Polyphonic Prose)

I'll share the story of my rubber chicken and how it dreams about hell. It is always panicked and seems so frantic; these feelings can never be quelled. Each morning it seems a little bit worse and there’s often a sulfurous smell. Squawky the chicken is frozen in fright, with that look of a terrified yell. There was nothing left of its jovial self, but only a hollowed-out shell. Squawky was once a normal rubber chicken that made us all laugh so well. When asked the reason for such deep dread, Squawky would never tell. We tried and tried to learn just the why, but nothing we said could compel. The lights are off and Squawky has gone, fairly, far away and farewell. Squawky the chicken will never tell, of those dreams it has about hell.
