Passed with flying colours. Still a painting, realistic but not photographic. He has life behind those eyes. There is no uncanny valley here, but more than that, he has emotional depth. Lots of potential going forward. 👏🙏❤️🌸❤️🫶

Last night I focused on testing SD3 solely with  *familiar* oil prompts.  This is where having complex prompts with proven dynamics really pays off.  I know what these prompts do with SDXL and various LoRAs so it is possible to compare the performance of SD3.

Against solely SDXL the differences are immediately notable. Yet even against quality LoRAs fine-tuned specifically for Oil the results with basic SD3 are brimming with promise.  Bear in mind, also, that these tests are with SD3 Medium.

I chose to post this one first because I purposefully gave it the sharp challenge of Neon lighting in oil.  It really did impress. It's not just the subject that moves me in this instance but the brushstrokes of the background truly pass for 2D.  

In all tests I have stayed in line with zero tweaking of the prompts, no filters and no neg' prompts.  I *want* to see the flaws. And last night for the first time with Medium I have seen issues with the hands, not terrible but noticeable.

Yeah, I’ve noticed a scaling issue, heads can be too big for shoulders.  One of my tests from Sunday night also had too many fingers but the algorithm had smudged them back a little. Clearly an improvement on prior hands but not completely resolved. I noticed how good the neon lights were in the background, wasn’t sure if you’d included any artists that might have helped with that. Nice to know it’s performing so well at a medium level! I’m excited, although I’m in bed and about to crash, so not too excited🤣😂
