It does, It was one of many I made for the Daily Challenge that had to do with fog. I used a different image but I think this has exactly what your saying. I don't like driving in thick fog because it is lonesome and scary not know what coming. It makes me think of Vietnam and the multiple helicopter missions that through the haze of smoke and fog must have felt lonesome and scary to x1000 or that feeling of abandonment when someone you love leaves and you and you see them fade away off into the distance. There is a fog and a silence that also make me think of being lonesome, at that moment  when Lucifer, heard the words, "  Be Gone!!!", that moment when the overpowering sound of silence and everything is gone and you are alone.
Thanks for your comment, it is the feeling I get when I think of fog, I appreciate you pointing it out and reading my thoughts, I guess I've felt and seen plenty lonesomeness in life's frontier.
