Aisha Nour was born in Gaza City, the largest and most populous city in the Gaza Strip, on June 15, 1998. She grew up in a large family of seven siblings, who shared a small apartment in the Shati refugee camp. Her father was a fisherman, who often struggled to provide for his family due to the Israeli blockade and restrictions on fishing. Her mother was a seamstress, who worked from home and taught Aisha how to sew and embroider.
Aisha loved learning and dreamed of becoming a teacher one day. She attended the UNRWA school in the camp, where she excelled in math, science, and English. She also enjoyed reading books, especially stories about other cultures and places. She often borrowed books from the library or from her friends, and sometimes traded them for clothes or food.

When Aisha was 14 years old, she witnessed the 2012 Israeli offensive on Gaza, which killed more than 100 Palestinians and injured thousands more. She saw her neighborhood bombed and shelled, and her school damaged by fire. She also lost some of her friends and relatives in the attacks.

She was traumatized by the violence and the fear, and developed anxiety and insomnia.
Despite the hardships, Aisha did not give up on her education. She continued to study hard and passed her exams with high marks. She also participated in various activities and programs organized by local NGOs and international agencies, such as art workshops, sports clubs, and youth leadership courses.

She wanted to improve herself and her community, and to show the world that Palestinians are not just victims, but also resilient and creative people.

Aisha applied for a scholarship to study abroad, hoping to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. She was accepted by a university in Italy, where she enrolled in the Faculty of Education. She was excited and nervous to leave her home and family for the first time, but also eager to explore a new country and culture.

Aisha arrived in Milan in September 2023, where she joined other international students in a dormitory. She quickly adapted to the academic environment and made friends with people from different backgrounds and nationalities. She also joined various clubs and societies on campus, such as the Palestinian Student Association, the Women's Rights Group, and the Book Club.

She enjoyed learning new things and sharing her experiences and opinions with others.
