After the Great War, France was humiliated by not only the German Empire, but by Greater Austria for their involvement in the creation of the Kingdom of Italy. Though in truth only a few lands could be taken from them by Greater Austria as the battles between them were limited, the major prize was the creation of the nation of Corsica. Though legally an independent nation, it is firmly under the Greater Austrian sphere of influence. Austrian troops are allowed on the island and one naval base is purely under Austrian control. However, unlike Sardinia-Piedmont, there is no restriction on its military size and Corsica is not obliged to aid Greater Austria in a time of war. However one rule remains enforced: Corsica may never again become a part of France.
A detailed head and shoulders portrait of a Corsican soldier. The image features dynamic lighting, intricate details, and volumetric lighting, with a hyperdetailed splash art style.
